can one arm (temporarily) get shorter than the other through the contraction of muscles?
The basic idea of this is that if you lift a weight with one arm and not the other one for about half a minute to a minute than it will get shorter than the other. The idea is that if you do this than the muscle contracting will pull the forearm closer to the bicept (the fluid in the joint takes the slack). So is this true? Ive done this to myself and the arm got shorter, actually several times. So why is this, is it in my head or is there something to this?
