The mount for the blade is made of cheap metal but can be repaired by brazing. Do you know a metal worker? Unless it is an uncommon fan you may be able to find one that has the same screw distance where the blade mount attaches to the fan motor at a second hand store. Most rental property managers only care that it works, not if it matches.
