question on ceiling track slings?
in some of the new disabled toilets i have noticed that they have ceiling track slings i was wondering how do you use them are you suppoed to grab onto the bar with your hands sit on the bar and grab the rope or how do you use them properly
I use the ceiling track lift, it has the same type sling as the hoyer lift, the only difference is that the lift is on a track system mounted on the ceiling. The track for my lift goes from over the bed, to the shower, and toilet. The lift part on the ceiling is motorized, you just push a button for the lifting and lowering and another button for the lift movement on the track . I am a vented quadriplegic so there is no option for grabbing anything, I am put into the sling and the caregiver controls the lift. Hope this helps.
