Our Chino leather parchment lampshades are made in Peru using traditional, old world craftsmanship from carefully selected, sun-dried hides, skillfully treated to maintain consistent color and texture, and hand-sewn with the same natural leather, these rawhide lampshades are noted for their high quality finish. At Antigua we start by tanning our own hides, slightly bleaching them to achieve a more uniform color. Our artisans then cut and lace each piece to the sturdy frame to make each lamp shade a work of art. Each shade is sold by height which is measured along the angle of the shade.
