im getting a 2005 explorer and want to know if you think i should black it out, or get chrome?

Chrome looks best on older trucks made in the 1960's 1970's and 1980's also the mid 1990s. Chrome on newer cars/trucks just looks tacky and cheap IMO. But to each his own.
Being a 2005 Model I would go with black out.
