I am suffering from severe shoulder pain and I don't have health insurance.?
I am a 26 year old female. I have worked as a dog trainer for the past 5 years. I am currently self employed and run my own business. I have been having increased shoulder pain. I am assuming from the repetitive use from walking and controlling dogs. It's only in my right shoulder and I am right handed. The pain feels as though it is my joint. It hurts to raise my arm up and out. It hurts when I'm sleeping and the pain wakes me up. I am not experiencing pain in my neck and right shoulder blade. That feels muscular though. Anyway, I don't know what to do about it because I don't have health insurance. I'm not a fan of pain killers. I went in once for the pain before and they just gave me Valium and sent me home without even examining me. Any advice on how to get some discounted medical care for this? I live in Colorado.
