98 Jeep Cherokee Overheating?
I'm having problems with the Cooling System on my 98 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4.0L. We replaced the radiator, thermostat, relays, and fuses back in June. However, a week ago the upper hose blew. It was replaced same day, but since then my Jeep has been overheating. I can run it work in the morning (outside temp around 84, Jeep temp around 190) on a 40 mile drive. However, even though the coolant levels are full (both radiator & reservoir), the Jeep is overheating on the way home from work (outside temp around 98, Jeep temp around 220). Unless I run the heat full blast, and avoid any lengthy stops (red lights, traffic jams), and don't even dare use the air... it overheats. I've checked and the electric fan is coming on both when the Jeep starts warming up and when the a/c is on. It happens both when driving and idling, but especially when idling. Please help 
jack is absolutely correct air pockets will make your car over heat.
to get rid of air pockets open your radiator cap (when cool) and your reservoir cap and start the car let it heat up and then watch the coolant level it may go up or down if it goes down add coolant wait and repeat until the coolant dosent go down anymore. you may have to give it a little throttle to push out those pockets
I had this same problem with my bronco and i couldn't find out what was wrong it turned out the thermostat was stuck open change it again and see they are cheap enough.
