Can you use a remote for a ceiling fan with can lights in place of the light fixture on the fan itself.?
I have a fan that does not have a light fixture on it. And I have 4 can lights with 60w bulbs. Will it be too much of a draw for the remote?
You will have to read the specs on the remote. Most aftermarket remotes have a 300watt max. for lighting. you are only drawing 240watts.
