How do you replace a pull chain that broke off inside a Hunter ceiling fan?
It's the pull chain that is used to switch the speed of the fan.
take the old switch off as suggested and take it with you to your local hardware store so you can show then what you want. shut the power off to the fan first because there are electric wires involved. the switches cost about $5.00.
