I praise the illusive woodland solitude
The Peristyle of the unconscious world
So dark and wild, this surreal temple,
of thoughts and knowledge yet unexplored
And every thought like a leaf falls here
To feed the mind, in its springtime bloom
To refresh with light and fire and energy
The static turbines of the conscious life
The mist that swirls about the shady grey
The canopy that shrouds the fertile floor
Are but the garments of the chaos
That prunes the florid order

I'm not trying to impress, as a poet I must paint an instant image, a juxaposition of thoughts In your mind, to convey my message.

I was suprised at how easily I could interpret this painting with words. I believe you when you said that you were not out to impress, but the work is impressive, for the words were well thought out before you applied your brush to add that subtle tint to each part of the picture. You do not stand back and admire it but are compelled to walk right into it, and once inside one becomes part of the whole, you no longer exist but are melded into every brush stroke.
