What happens if I use a fluorescent light bulb in an incandescent fixture?
My boss can't afford a new hood for our 10g aquarium. Currently we have an incandescent fixture. I have a fluorescent fixture at home but I am getting a new light bulb tomorrow. Could I use my old fluorescent bulb in my work aquarium even though it's an incandescent fixture?
sure as long as if fits correctly most of the time it's not the fixture that is incandescent but the bulb i have an incandecent bulb in my 10g aquarium and all it does is evaporate my water faster then with a florescent bulb. but you can use the bulb on your fixture . send me a message for any other fish questions. hope i helped.
