Is there any "Green" device that can have positive effects on water regarding the amount we use?
Showers, Brushing our teeth, and flushing toilets.. And it is OBVIOUS to cut down on those things or turn off the faucet when brushing my teeth, but as in unlimited. Like for electricity we have Solar Panels. Not a good example for my description... But it has the same idea.
Just wanting to know.
The obvious answer is to either shower with you neighbor, or his wife, depending on you person preference.
Now all joking aside, where I live there is no water shortage, the water shortage comes from too many people living in the same area.
The water supply is not being depleted, it is just being transfered.
It take a certain amount of time for water to build up under ground, and people are pumping it out faster than it can replenish it's self.
and you can only pipe in so much water, and in the process of evaporation a portion of this is lost and returns back to where it was piped from in the form of rain.
To me the obvious solution would be to move the people to where the water is, instead of moving the water to where the people are.
and that means industrializing the urban area.
part of this is being accomplished in the Portland Oregon, and Seatle Washington areas, to name a few.
