Question for Melissa B but others welcome to answer.?
I'm not to sure how to work the mail thing because I'm not to sure how to work Yahoo lol. But I have another question about my Kenyan Sand Boa that you have already answered one about. I want to incorperate rocks into the tank and I know I should place them directly on the glass bottom. (not on sand) But I use to have these large rocks(not stones but actual flatish rocks and also I have a fossil rock that I want to place in there) that were in my turtle tank. How should I sterilize them or should I? I just don't want the Sand Boa to get an infection or anything. I didn't know whether I could dilute bleach with some hot water and let them soak and then rinse them with more hot water. I honestly have no clue. So if ya could answer this it would be great Thanks.

Kudos to you for knowing to put the rocks on the bottom of the tank instead of on top of the substrate and thinking to sterilize things before putting them in your Kenyan's terrarium; that is a clear indication that you have done a very good job in your research on this species before getting one. 
To answer your actual question; while others have had great success using diluted bleach; the thought of putting a chemical like that in my snake's cage just doesn't sit well with me. It probably works fine for most, but I have heard too many horror stories for me to trust it.
Instead; when I want to use the decorative accessories that i've had for previous reptiles for a new reptile (or am just cleaning my terrarium); I either boil the item for 10 minutes on the stove, or run it through the dishwasher without soap. If it is something like a faux-plant, I use very hot water and dish-washing soap, the Dawn brand being my favorite. All of those methods work surprisingly well and are great for sanitizing things in a way that won't harm my reptiles.
