height of chandelier for 2 story foyer?
Would the chandelier be over the stairs? If so, you need to take that into account. The problem usually with chandeliers in a two story foyer is that they are too small (especially diameter wise).
I have not heard of any rule as to what the height should be. I agree that is is just a matter of how you like the way it looks. I have actually seen a mechanism that is mounted in the ceiling which allows you to raise or lower the height of your chandelier in a two-story foyer.
