ceiling fan stopped spinning one way?
My ceiling fan stopped spinning one way. The motor will hum but the blades will not spin. So I tried flipping the switch in the other direction and it spins that way. Seems weird to me. And I purchased it from Home Depot and installed this fan about a month ago. Is this a simple fix or should I try to return it or have it fixed. Returning it might be difficult because I rent my house and have already sent the receipt away to my land lord for reimbursement and I am not sure he still has it.
It is a Hampton Bay Landmark Plus 52 inch.

You can exchange it no problem at Home Depot they don't need a reciept, done it dozens of times. Don't even need a box, just bring it in and tell them its broke.
