Any indoor wall socket control device that will program outdoor lights?
I need a simple device that I can plug into an indoor electrical outlet that will let me control segment by segment, my outdoor flood lights through the electrical outlet.
Are there any such devices and if so, is it easy to install that a cave man like me can do it?
Any light control has to be connected to the lights you want it to control. There is nothing that you just plug into an indoor socket that can control any light, either indoor or outdoor, that is not wired directly to the controller. If your outdoor lights are plugged into an outlet you can unplug them, plug in a controller, and plug the lights into the controller. But each segment that you want to control separately has to have it's own controller. There's a system called X10 that you could use for this. See the link below.
