Replacing kitchen lights in ceiling - florescent tubes. How to get them to work?
Last year I replaced the metal piece with a cheap one. Lights come - one very dim the other dim & flickers.
You may have a couple of problems. The ballast in the light its self could be bad or it could be the bulbs.If the ends of the bulbs are starting to darken it is time for new ones. If the bulbs are new and the lights are coming on, I would make sure the lights are seated properly in the holder
