Normal to bug out first time smoking weed? Or was it laced?

Hey guys,

I smoked weed for the first time and used a vaporizer. Let me tell you I was tripping balls. Wondered out of the weed lounge and sat on the sidewalk where I kept thinking a lamp post was a someone who wanted to talk to me. It's not that I "saw" things but my mind would forget what things were and I'd think they were something else.

I was also paranoid as hell for about 5 minutes. Kept thinking everyone outside was talking about me!
I didn't actually speak to the lamp post thankfully. So my question really is can the "trippin" be explained by me being a beginner combined with the high dose from the vape?

Your experience is normal and it is extremely unlikely that the marijuana you recieved was laced.
