Are LED lights a viable artificial light source?
I took pity on a few "clearance plants" from the local Wal-Mart, and a few of them are looking a little yellow or pale. I'm a college student living in the dorms, so my only real options for providing light are the east-facing window and lamps.
Would the pale plants gain anything from being put underneath my LED desk lamp in the evenings?
Yes they can be an important element in hydroponic culture for flowers and vegetables.
