Connecting LED string to AA batteries?
I'm trying to connect this string to AA batteries: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=/specs/WFLB96.htm
My question is: how many batteries do I need and what do I need to put between the string and the batteries to get the current correct (e.g. resistor? if so what level and how do I connect it?). Thanks in advance for any assistance.
P.S. Please understand that I am a complete n00b when it comes to electricity and LEDs. Use small words in your explanation. Thx
For the 12 volts, you would need 8 1.5 volt batteries connected in series.
That gives you the rated 12 volts exactly. No resisters needed.
