Does light that gets sucked into a Black Hole add to the accumulated gravitational power of the Black Hole?
Solid things with mass that are sucked into black holes add their mass to the gravity of the black hole enabling the black hole to eventually suck in the whole universe and cause another big bang thus starting everything all over again.
But. What about light?
Black holes are so powerful that it sucks in light. But what does light do for the black hole?
Light has no weight or mass. What does the black hole get from light?
Your statement "...enabling the black hole to eventually suck in the whole universe and cause another big bang thus starting everything all over again." is questionable.
First of all, a black hole does not "suck" anything in. I t attracts it gravitationally, just like the sun and earth attract. Since that attraction diminishes with the square of the distance, even a very large black hole is not likely to "suck in the whole universe."
Second, your assumption that a large black hole caused the big bang (or that a future black hole may cause another) is also flawed. We have no evidence that a black hole caused the big bang, and we have a fair amount of evidence that the accelerating expansion of the universe will prevent a collapse, so there won't be another big bang.
But your question about light is interesting!
Mass and energy are equivalent (E= MC^2), so energy creates gravity, too! However, a huge amount of energy is equivalent to only a small amount of mass, so it would take a *lot* of energy poured into a black hole to appreciably affect its gravity.
