Will a compact fluorescent bulb provide sufficient light for a Pothos plant?
There isn't any natural light available unfortunately, I live in a dungeon. I have a Philips Marathon Mini Decorative Twister bulb (EL/mdT 13W). Will this bulb produce sufficient light for a Pothos plant?

Probably not; too dim and devoid of essential wave lengths.
Pothos also known as Scindapsus aureus, and Epipremnum aureum, and Pothos aureus, and Raphidophore aurea, and Devil' ivy, and golden pothos, and S. pictus argyraeus, and P. argyraeus, and silver pothos depending on the color leaves of the one you have.
These plants need a minimum of 400 foot candles of light brightness over at least 12 hours per day. The lamp you mention is probably devoid of the red and blue wave lengths that are really important to plants.
