i have a swag lamp that i want to convert to a porch light. how do I convert the cored?
i want to convert a swag lamp light fixture to a porch light.

It depends on what your wiring is now for the porch light. Normally, If you have wiring in place, you can cut the cord off the end of your swag lamp and then spice them onto the porch wiring. If the lamp wire is too long, just cut to the length necessary to hang on the porch. Make sure you put ground, positive and negative wires from the lamp to the appropriate wires coming from the porch.
