aloha breeze remote ceiling fan light kit not working.?
I bought an aloha breeze remote ceiling fan with light fixture at Wal-mart about one year ago. The light fixture has quit working. The fan control on the remote works, but the light control on the remote or using the pull chain will not work on it.
The fan has a hot wire for the fan and hot wire for the light. It could be the hot wire for the light has come loose. There is alot of vibration in the fan housing and with that remote sensor cramed in there, a wire possibly came loose. Easy fix, just unsrew the screws closest to the ceiling. slide the housing down and check wire connections. Light wire is usually black and white striped. Make sure switch is off so you do not get zapped. Peace!
