How to wire a bathroom ceiling light?
I live in an old house with old wirings. I removed the bathroom light pendant and it showed 2 x red wires joined together, 2 x blacks wires joined together and another 2 x black wires joined together. I'm not sure how to re - wire in order install a new bathroom ceiling light. I think this is combined to the wall light of another room since this light does not work now. Please help.
You might not want to but I believe you need some assistance from someone that has a volt/ohm meter to help you...It is just a little dangerous feeling of a wire to see if it is hot...
