How do I dismantle a Panasonic Light Tower Remote Control?
Panasonic won't share how to take a Light Tower apart without breaking it. Of course, they want to sell a new one! None of the four or five authorized repair places will share, either. I know it just needs cleaning inside for the contacts and I've done that with dozens of other remotes. I'm extremely frustrated I can't get this thing apart easily. Any ideas?
I take controls apart by looking under labels and finding the few screws holding them together. Sometimes there are only plastic tabs to jimmy with small slotted screwdrivers.
Check EBAY and Half for a replacement control if you really cannot get it open.
