Satellite TV channels mess up in day light?
Its weird, on the Dish Channels, there seems to be a problem, during day light the channels mess up but at night, they're perfect.....whats up with that? Is there a way to fix this?
The one other answer has some good points. Another possibility is that your dish isn't aimed very well. During the night, the calmer atmosphere and less electrical noise allows you to receive the satellite. During the day, the more turbulent atmosphere and extra electrical noise causes your problem. Go to the set-up part of your dish menu and check for the satellite signal level. Peak it out. You need at least 70% if not 80% to get a reliable signal. If it's lower than that your dish has moved off a bit. Maybe it was never aimed right in the first place. This is where I would start. Then go on to other possibilities.
