pitcher plants leaves turning pink?
(i deleted the old post as i screwed it up) i have a pitcher plant heres a picture of the plant kind http://photos.igougo.com/images/p235951-Hong_Kong-Magnificent_Pitcher_Plant.jpg
it has recently been turning pink. it has been outside for a week probably getting direct sunlight and lots of rain water. the inner vein on the leave is turning pink and the leaves are getting a small hint of pink, is there anything that i am doing wrong? and is my plant ok?
p.s. that isn't a picture of my plant i unfortuntely do not have a camera but that is in general what the pitchers look like if saw that picture i would see no difference between mine and that once
Nope, just looks like the pink is an artifact of the sunlight, as I said in my previous answer. Some red/pink colors in plants and leaves are the result of the production of certain sugars, which only happens in the presence of sunlight. The plant looks healthy to me.
