Durable and keeping clean are two entirely different things.
Nickel is probably much more durable. It's really hard and is generally impervious to rust. But, it will certainly show powder residue and also scratches over time. A blued finish tends to wear around the edges over time and will rust (bluing is a form of controlled rust anyway).
I've owned and shot nickel plated handguns and let me warn you of this. They are absolutely worthless in bright sunlight. I've had the sun's rays reflect off the nickel surface and blind me when I was trying to aim at a target.
