I purchased a kingston brass deck mount faucet, won't fit 3CM counter, how can I extend the threaded rods?
I purchased a kingston brass restoration deck mount faucet from overstock.com thinking it would work with a 3CM granite countertop. The threaded rods do not extend down through the granite far enough to connect... any ideas on how to modify so that we can use this faucet?
Sure, take the faucet to the hardware store and they can slip a female coupler on each side, then add a reducer to each and your ready to install. If the hole in counter top is only big enough for the threaded rod to fit trough then they can just remove the rods completely and replace with longer ones, which would be the best if they will come out easily.
