Green Lantern, do you know what a contradiction is?
You cited verses from the old testament as being contradictory: 2Sam. 10:10 & 1Chron. 19:18, 2Kings 8:26 & 2Chron. 22:2, 2KIngs 24:8 & 2Chron. 36:9 - I hope I got these right, I couldn't find your post from yesterday.
I looked them up and I think you don't know what a contradiction is. The first pair appears to be contradictory, but it is a discrepancy concerning numbers. The second pair, well I just don't see anything. The third has a minor discrepancy of 10 days - paleeze.
If you are bent on finding contradictions, know what the word means:
CONTRADICT(ION) - (Derived from Latin, Contra meaning against and dicere, meaning speak) 1- To assert the opposite of or deny (a statement) 2- to deny the statement of (a person) 3- to be contrary to.

Details can be different according to individual vantage points, but the whole context is not affected. Your proof is not of contradiction but of discrepancies from "side information."
God showed me this years ago. We may think we see contradiction in the word, but we never ever do. When we think we see it, its becuse we dont know something yet that we need to know to put the pieces together to form full truth. Example someone may see where God says not to kill and then hear God call war. Well, the word for do not kill, was DO NOT MURDER. many difference in the old Bible words than the english we know. Get a good hebrew/greek word study and doors of heaven are just opened for you. wowow.
So if they saw those two things they would say wowow contradiction. BUt, they just dont know yet. Not only are we not to murder, but we arent to even think it in our heart in the new testament. IT all fits together like a huge glorious jigsaw puzzle, one little pieces at a time as we study and pray, and one day it will all click and it fits, and we see the plan. gorgous. THen we see no we dont, and we see the scriputure all over againfrom a deeper point of view, and start all over again with another puzzle, we will do this till Jesus comes Bible comes in layers, even the jews know that. Four layers, that will be be be beginning all over again and agan till Jesus comes. as we are ready to go deeper, we get a whole new puzzle, new reelation. God is so good.
There is just no such thing as Bible contradiction, but God requires that we study the word and not just read it. Study and know it, hear it and receive it, and put it into action. We are commanded to obey GOD. IF we are called to be His, we are also called to obey. Either we love and believe in God or we dont, and if we do, we trust Him , and we obey every word that comes from God, knowing He knows best. ANd then we count it all as joy. No contradictions ppl. sorry.
Just stuff we dont know yet. We are all growing and learning al the time. Till Jesus comes.
