How do I make a indoor greenhouse/garden on my back porch?
My mom misses her garden very badly because we moved to a two-flat house apartment that has no backyard. For this mother's day/her birthday I wanted to turn our back porch into a little greenhouse for her, even if its just a couple window boxes and some hanging plants along the window tops. I do not have a lot of money or building know how, but if their are instructions I am great!
Back porch:
-has two love seat couches
-a large desk
-a couple boxes
- a small rectangular wood coffee table
- 8, in wall shelves on one wall
-two walls are all windows, 6 in total with no out side ledges
-it changes with the weather, its really cold when its cold and really hot in summer
-it has carpet
-its about 10'x11'
Can anyone please tell me how to do this and how much it should cost? I'm hoping under a $100, but cheapest would be the best. Any ideas, advice, or suggestions could help.

I live on the second floor.
Frame the area where the greenhouse will be located with pressure treated 2x4's and 16 penny nails. Attach a thick plastic sheathing all around it with a staple gun. Leave no gaps that outside air can enter. Clear wide tape can be used on the seams to seal them. Overlap the entrance with 3 feet of sheathing and have a way to secure it after tending to the plants. Have it near an electrical outlet so you can have a heating element and lights installed in there.
If this seems too difficult for you to handle, go to a Lowe's or a Home Depot for a diagram do-it-yourself book. The whole job shouldn't cost over $75
I applaud you for doing this for your mother. She's a lucky lady to have a caring daughter like you to do this for her. Good luck...
