And almost every time i start a game up the fan sounds like its goin into meltdown.. once i quit the game the fan still dont stop unless i switch the ps3 off...
its well ventilated, standing up on wooden flooring, loads of space for air to circulate etc.. put my hand on the ps3 and its not even warm so it cant be overheating... it was fine before i changed the hdd but now jus that real annoyin fan noise..
The only thing i can think of whats causing it is the heat from outside.. Its like pushing 40 degrees out there, baking hot... but i duno how to fix it...
I also think the surrounding temperature is the case. Just try to keep your room as cool as possible.
Hard drive is at the proper speeds so that isn't the problem.
EDIT: The hard drive is at 5400 RPMs if you look at the link, so the hard drive really should not be causing this problem. 40 C is just over 100 degrees farenheight so that is much more likely to be the problem.
