How to record from PC to Minidisc?
I'd really like to be able to record from my PC to minidisc.
Using a normal jack connection often results in interferance from the companants of the PC and also does't allow for breaks between tracks.
Ideally, i'd like to install a drive which writes to minidisc but I'm pretty sure that no such device is available now, if it ever was.
I think that the most likely and best option would be to connect the PC to minidisc player via an optical cable. Unfortunately, though, I can't find a connector that will do the job. Do you know of any usb, card or other device that will allow me to output an optical signal from my pc that I can send to my minidisc recorder?

i think the sound blaster audigy range has an optical output. Platinum is the one to check out. Would have thought Sony had a software package to transfer mp3s/cds to minidisc but could be wrong. I hardly used my old minidisc.
