kitchen light replacement?
i have a kitchen light- one switch ( dimmer) and two pendants. its a new house. I would like to exchange for a two wire with halgoens strung across from wall to wall type light. two questions. what do i do with the second now redundant ceiling fitting? Can i use a dimmer switch with a transformer powered rope type light? thanks
You put a blank on the 2nd light opening and paint it. I have installed this type of lighting and in can be complicated. I would suggest hiring a electrician to do the job. You can use dimmer switch, you have to buy one for rated for transformers. Home Depot or Menards should have them.
