why does my two light switches spark when I switch either one on or off. I have used 3 core light cable ?
I have just installed 2 two-way switches and round three core light cable. I have noticed when I switch either light switch off it sparks above the rocker switch in side the switch Why, have I done any thing wrong ?
well in UK lighting circuits, the current is 5A (amp). most equipment is rated at 6A. as long as your 3 core flex and switch fronts are rated above 5A u should be ok. Maybe you have some cheap switch fronts.
