Installing a wall mounted new light fixture (w/ ground wire) to a box with no ground wire, can it be done?
All I have coming from the wall are the white and black wire, no others. My new fixture has white, black and a bare ground wire. How can I hook it up? Thanks!
so I can just attach the bare ground wire to the mounting bracket/green screw? Should I cover it with electrical tape?

spend eight dollars and install a gfci outlet and don't attach the ground wire. If all this is in a room with no metal near by, you are OK
