Poor Man's Nitrous?
I race dirt-track beaters. I've heard rumors that if you fill your washer bottle with pure grain alcohol and run the washer fluid hose into the carb that when you push the washer sprayer button, it's like a nitrous shot. Obviously there is probably a huge risk of burning pistons or valves or blowing the motor but would this actually work? Has anyone ever tried it?
Nitrous is not an option, because you would never be able to hide a nitrous bottle from inspection by track officials. But I dont think they would notice one little black hose running run the washer bottle to the carb.
