How to wire multiple LEDs?
I'm working on a little project and I want to wire two blue leds to one 9v battery. But I need the leds to be separate from each other, like on two different wires. Does someone have a diagram? I'm thinking of using 1.7v leds, and what ohm resistor would I need? I honestly don't know the math so can someone do it for me? And once again, I don't need them in parallel or series. I want them on two different wires. any ideas?
With 2 LEDs, there are only 2 possibilities: series or parallel.
Unless you mean each has its own resistor, so you wire each LED in series with a resistor, then those in parallel.
I'd guess about 1kohm, but I don't know the current rating of your LEDs.
